Every report helps us protect the Reserve

Why it's important to report

The Reserve is a delicate ecosystem: every piece of information is valuable. Reporting the presence of an animal, unusual behavior, litter, or any other unusual situation helps our staff respond quickly and effectively.

Wildlife sightings
Birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals… especially if they are unusual or rare.
Endangered or injured species
E.g., birds that cannot fly, immobilized animals, carcasses.
Littering or dumping in sensitive areas
Buste, ingombranti, residui agricoli, microdiscariche.
Changes in the habitat (water, vegetation, erosion)
Turbid water, fluctuations in water level, damaged vegetation, erosion.
Dangerous behavior by visitors
Off-trail hiking, loud noises, disturbance to wildlife.
Any fires or outbreaks
Even small amounts of smoke or embers.
Presence of stray pets
Dogs or cats in protected areas that might disturb the wildlife.
Presence of unauthorized vehicles
Cars, motorcycles, or other vehicles are not permitted in protected areas.
Damaged or unsafe structures
Broken fences, fallen signs, and rickety walkways.
